On October 5, 2023, an event, “Georgian Culture Days”, was held in the city of Colombo, the homeland of different cultures, religions, tropical climate, wild animals and tea in Sri Lanka.
Within the framework of the mentioned event, an introduction to our centuries-old culture and 8000 years of continuous tradition of winemaking took place. Georgian cuisine, handicrafts and various products were presented at this event, which did not leave any guest indifferent. Special attention was paid to Georgian wine. We are glad that the “father and son winery” contributed to all of this. Members of local businesses, government representatives and other invited guests had the opportunity to taste our winery’s wines, as well as samples produced using the classical method and Georgian traditional kvevari technology, as well as high-alcohol drinks. They were also convinced of the previously unknown Georgian, unique grape varieties and their potential.
The tasting was successful, our wines were well received. The mentioned event was another step forward in the development of both our winery and Georgian winemakers as a whole.
